It is abundantly clear that the Planetary Awakening is coming into creative manifestation in many forms as we begin to rethink our relationships with Earth and Cosmos. This is nowhere more visually evident than in the fields of architecture, design, and the building arts.

  • A Pattern Language: Towns, Buildings, Construction by Christopher Alexander, Sara Ishikawa, Murray Silverstein, with Max Jacobson, Ingrid Fiksdahl-King, Shlomo Angel, Oxford University Press, New York, 1977. We know of no contemporary book or treatise that captures the spirit of building in harmony with All Things, in detail and in depth, so effectively as does A Pattern Language.

  • Alto Domes Natural Health Retreat, Mt. Maunganui, New Zealand. "This amazing looking building is the brainchild of designer Dean Zajonskowski. It was his interest in sacred geometry and pyramidology, along with his thirty year experience in the field of precision wood engineering and design that lead him to begin developing the idea almost ten years ago."

  • Fairbanks Productions, Inc. Home of the Lotus Dome. "The Lotus Dome is intended to be a physical, external reflection of the inner evolution of human consciousness, providing the thinnest possible membrane between interior space and the external world. With the dramatic development of new technologies, exciting alternatives of shelter and structure become possible when we look at our world through new eyes."

  • Pacific Domes: Shelter for Freedom Worldwide. "Pacific Domes is a family owned and operated business located in the Siskiyou Mountains of southern Oregon. Since 1980 we have been working on perfecting the function and beauty of our portable Geodesic Domes. We combine the sacred geometry of R. Buckminster Fuller with our progressively designed covers to bring you this futuristic Zen structure."

  • Lloyd Turner: "Even though the nature of concrete is plastic (put fresh concrete into any shape and it will stay that way forever), until about 40 years ago architects in this country rarely considered the idea of curved concrete buildings.

"By spraying a few inches of urethane foam to the inside surface of a large inflated shape made of fabric, letting the foam become rigid, then shooting gunite (air emplaced concrete) against this, again from the inside, one could end up with a multi-curved concrete structure, already insulated, with NO form costs."

  • Steven Travis...Natural Structures: "[The Vesica Piscis Temple House] is a living house. It may be built of saplings, thatch, and earth. It can also be built with concrete (stone). It focuses and resonates all of the natural energies and generates a bio-energetic healing force . It derives its proportions from Stonehenge, the Giza Pyramid, and the Earth and Moon dimensions. It blends the Chakras, (the body's energy centers), the I Ching ( the Chinese oracle Book of Changes), cosmic etheric energy, underground streams, sun, wind, water, earth, and fire."
