Ramesh S. Balsekar

Ramesh S. BalsekarIf it is personal direct one-on-one contact with an Enlightened Master that you need, this is the Being to contact. Most of the other Incarnations are so famous and so busy with large numbers of people that little or no direct personal contact is possible, or at the most it can happen for a minute or two in front of large audiences. That is not enough time for answering the soul’s deepest inquiries, and discussing the fine points of one’s own personal spiritual journey.

The refreshing difference with Ramesh Balsekar is that while he displays the same supreme consciousness as other Masters, he has deliberately kept his publicity to a minimum, so his following remains relatively small. He is around 86 years young at this writing in 2002, and still in excellent health. He welcomes people to his private home, a spacious apartment near the ocean in a nice area of Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay). Every day at 10:00 AM, a group of ten to thirty or so people congregates in his apartment to dialogue and discuss with him until 11:30.

Ramesh’s purpose is to assist others in their own awakening process. So he wants those who are rising in consciousness to bring their questions, the questions whose answers are most sincerely needed for one’s own Self realization. Flashes of illumination happen to most visitors, because in such a small intimate setting, many fascinating exchanges become possible. This is not the place to come for theorizing, but rather for going directly into your own deepest and most ultimate concerns, to gain the insights that may sow the seed of your own awakening, realization, and enlightenment.

So, when you’re in Mumbai, go to the Cumballa Hill area in the south part of the city, and at 9:30 AM on most days when he is in town (go half an hour before 10:00 to get a good seat), go to Ramesh’s apartment on North Gamadia Road, Sindhula Building, top floor. If you need to telephone for any reason, the number is - India country code is 91; Mumbai city code is 22; then 492-7725. It is best to call ahead to make sure he is in town and holding open sessions on the day(s) you wish to come. You can also call to reserve a seat, if it is your first visit, or if you need a chair.
