This page was originally titled Communities, and was dedicated to information related in various ways to human communities and community building. It has been renamed, and its emphasis shifted, in response to the information developed in the essay series, Civilization and Beyond; which has evolved in turn into the Electric Book, Metaconsciousness: Mythology for a Post-Civilized World by J. Harmon Grahn.
