                  In Order of Appearance

SAMANTHA JULIE's daugher, DONALD's sister, is six
                   years old.

JOHN JULIE's and JEFFREY's father, consort to
                   HELLEN, is mature, appearing "young-
elderly," with greying temples, and in
                   vigorous good health.

JULIE JOHN's daughter, red hair, with striking
green eyes, is a year younger than
                   JEFFREY.

JEFFREY JOHN's SON, fair complexion, late
                   twenties.

DONALD JULIE's son, SAMANTHA's brother, is
                   five years old.

SUSAN HOLLOWAY "guiding spirit" of the "dolphin
                   project" in Kealakekua Bay.

HELLEN JOHN's consort, is native to East
                   Africa. Keen, intelligent, aquiline
features grace her dark skin. She speaks
English clearly, yet with a mild and
                   unique "foreign accent."

CHRISTOPHER JULIE's consort; computer programmer for
                   a large corporation.

ELIZABETH is a VISITOR, native to Ireland, and
like most of the other NOMADS not part
of JOHN's immediate family, is present
in an endeavor to gain a firmer foothold
in the unfamiliar ways of life emerging
                   in the "New Earth."
