[What follows is the second in a series of [originally seven, now eight] essays on what I eventually began calling the "WingMakers Myth." The revised "Table of Contents" for the series now stands as stated below.]
[Continued from "Ancient Arrow, Part I"]
There has been a certain amount of interest expressed in the "Ancient Arrow" essay last edition (The New Paradigm Vol. II #10, Monday, 12 April, 1999), not the least of which has been my own. I did a search on "wingmakers" and came up with not many, but a few sites on the Internet with a variety of ancillary information / opinions concerning the WingMakers Site. I suppose these may be roughly divided into three distinguishable categories: 1) simple links to the WingMakers Site with little or no commentary; 2) commentary which, like tnp Vol. II #10, was either neutral or accepted the WingMakers at face value; 3) commentary which declared the WingMakers Site a certain or probable hoax. Of the small available sample, category 3) seems to predominate. Following are sites in the latter two categories I bookmarked for the purpose of sharing:
Okay; suppose we grant the WingMakers Site is possibly / probably a hoax; where does that leave us? The "Ancient Arrow" story is, even by its own account, only a story which cannot be verified by any available means; for, it is claimed, nothing can defeat the super high-tech ACIO security around the Ancient Arrow Site in northern New Mexico. You may believe that, or disbelieve it, as you will. And certainly there is nothing about the artwork on the site that prohibits it from having been done by a contemporary artist(s). The poetry likewise; in fact, I found the poetry strikingly human and easy to empathize with. But then, so is some of the poetry of Homer, and the Psalms of David, and the Song of Solomon. Will poetry written 750 years in our future necessarily be so different? The two pictured artifacts are not shown in enough detail to render them distinguishable from a natural crystal and a rock formation of indeterminate size; yet they are alleged to be artifacts of subtle technological design. Could be; could be not. The music, while unusual, and highly appealing to me, is also strikingly contemporary in sound, and nothing that could not be produced today with familiar acoustic and electronic instruments. But then much contemporary music is made with instruments invented hundreds of years ago. The case so far seems to me rather indecisive. The only item left to consider is the WingMakers' Philosophy; and here we come to the nub of what interests me enormously: somebody, somewhere, some time, wrote or "will have written" the Philosophical essays, "Life Principles of the Sovereign Integral" and "The Shifting Models of Existence;" as well as the entries in the Glossary. This strikes me as a formidable intellectual / spiritual achievement, regardless where or when it originates, and the articulation of a liberating vision of what we Human Beings are and the destiny that can be ours. I call it more "new paradigm" than The New Paradigm, and that's going some, for me. If it was written by a contemporary resident of Earth, I would sincerely like to meet shim, electronically or in person. Yes, Sir, I would definitely consider it a privilege to become personally acquainted with the Author of the WingMakers' Philosophy. When it comes right down to it, whether the WingMakers story was dreamed up by a contemporary visionary / spinner of tales, or originates exactly as it is claimed, or something in between, is of little moment. What is important, at least to me, is that a vision of Humanity, individual by sovereign individual, ultimately independent of any hierarchical intervention, can be and is intimately connected and in synchronous harmony with Prime Creator, or Source Reality, or All That Is. This vision is held by somebody with enough clarity to be articulated at this time on this Planet in such a way as to capture the attention and interest of a diverse global audience. That, in my opinion, is significant. It is yet another indication to me that a paradigm shift is indeed in progress upon the Earth, and in the minds and hearts of many Human Beings throughout the Planet. Of course, no one likes the feeling of having been "had" by a trickster. It leaves a bad taste in the mouth, and it discredits whatever merit the "gag" might have otherwise had. If the WingMakers story is indeed a hoax, it seems to rather contradict the spirit of the Philosophy it expounds, which is too bad, because the Philosophy is very elevating and inspiring. Possibly it was lifted from a more enlightened source by a less enlightened perpetrator? On the other hand, what if the story is essentially true? Wouldn't it then be in the interest of the alleged ACIO / Labyrinth Group to discredit the story as a hoax - and in particular to draw attention away from a Philosophy that might obviate the "evolution / saviorship model" of existence? Aside from the stark novelty of the story, I see nothing in the published claims it's a hoax that decisively discredits it. There's just this nebulous feeling, which may pass for a "consensus" if not too carefully scrutinized, that, "Aw, heck, it's probably just a hoax after all." But speaking of hoaxes, how far do you trust "the authorities" today; i.e. the Hierarchy? Do you clearly understand why NATO forces are bombing downtown Belgrade today, and US/UN forces were bombing downtown Baghdad a couple of months ago? Do you believe everything you see on the "Evening News?" Are you sure you understand what, and why, your children are "taught" in "public school?" Do you trust that your personal interests are being diligently pursued by your "leaders?" Your "elected representatives?" Your "civil servants?" Are you sure they are really disclosing to you all the relevant facts behind their actions and agendas? Does the President, the Prime Minister, the Secretary General, the King never lie? Are the "black budgets" of the various "intelligence agencies" really devoted to "national security?" Do you know where your "tax dollars" are right now? Do you have a clear understanding why your money consistently "inflates" year after year, but never "deflates?" Why the "cost of living" always rises, but never declines; even though we are allegedly such an "advanced civilization" there is no ceiling to our potential "progress?" Do you trust the global banking system that manipulates and controls all the world's currencies? Hmmmm? Oh, nothing, I was just wondering is all. Read the WingMakers' Philosophy again - if you're so inclined; if you're interested - and, "hoax" or not, see if it doesn't give you some deeper insight into what you are, and what you can be in relation to Source Reality and All That Is. Just a suggestion. As you're well aware by now, I am personally convinced that unless there is a widespread, spontaneous paradigm shift real soon in the hearts and minds and spirits of People everywhere, Individual by Individual, Our so-called "civilization's" so-called "progress" is going to continue accumulating disasters heaped upon catastrophes until... well, until We do shift Our paradigms. Or as the WingMakers have it, "The time has come to integrate the dominant model of the hierarchy (evolution / saviorship) with the dominant model of Source Intelligence (transformation / mastership). This integration can only be achieved at the level of the entity. It cannot occur within the context of a human instrument or an aspect of the hierarchy. Only the entity--the wholeness of inter-dimensional sovereignty imbued with Source Intelligence--can facilitate and fully experience the integration of these two models of existence. "This form of integration occurs when the entity fully explores the two models and develops a synthesis model that positions saviorship as an internal role of the entity to 'save' itself, and not rely upon externals to perform this liberating task. This act of self-sufficiency begins to integrate the saviorship idea with the mastership realization. The next step is to integrate the time-based incremental progress of the evolutionary model with the realization-based acceptance of the transformation model. This is done when the entity is thoroughly convinced that experience and utilization of its wholeness can only occur when it is completely detached from the various structures of the hierarchy." ["The Shifting Models of Existence"] To me, this sinks to the very core of the most vital issue facing You, and Me, and the entire Planet today; for very simply, so long as We Sovereign Cosmic Beings with, whether We realize it or not, direct access to Source Reality, Source Intelligence, rely upon "others" (i.e. Hierarchy) to "rule" us, to "save" us - so long will we find ourselves cast adrift in a sea of futility, chaos and despair. For the greatest hoax that has ever been is the impossible fiction that "somebody else" can actually "rule" or "save" anybody. Our universe is just not set up that way, and those who insist it is are in catastrophic error. (Ah, in my opinion. Remember, I'm not trying to convince anybody of anything; these are just thoughts you may submit to your consideration if you wish.) Okay, so suppose We do, a significant, sufficient number of Us, negotiate a fully manifest paradigm shift: what then? How would the resulting world be different than it is today? I would think then that hierarchical organization would give way and be entirely replaced by a much more fluid system of social organization, to the advantage of all and the disadvantage of none. This, as the WingMakers note, can only happen if the Individual has fully comprehended shim's identity with the Self, sometimes called "Higher Self," what the WingMakers call "the entity:" "the wholeness of inter-dimensional sovereignty imbued with Source Intelligence." (I do not quote the WingMakers, by the way, as some sort of "authority," but only because they put these things so nicely, it's difficult to improve upon them.) A corollary comprehension is of course that all "others" are similar manifestations of Higher Self and are so honored and respected. Under such conditions there is no "government" as is mistakenly believed to exist today, for each Sovereign Individual governs Shimself, and is a Peer with all other Sovereign Individuals, not a "master" or a "slave." Organizational structures would then spontaneously form and dissolve as needed for the common purposes of their constituents - with never a violation of the Sovereignty of any One by any One "else;" for to violate any One's Sovereignty is inevitably to deny and surrender One's own. Beyond that, it is difficult to imagine what directions and manifestations such a world might take; but it is likewise difficult to imagine that in such a world anything imaginable and desirable would not be quickly realized. In the event of differences between or among Sovereigns, it would naturally be incumbent exclusively upon the Individuals involved to sort out their differences to their mutual satisfaction; clearly conflict or war would be the most remote and least likely of all possible means to arrive at such resolution, and may not be a possibility at all in a fully mature "new paradigm" society. Our contemporary world, by contrast, is clearly one of total anarchy: for even under hierarchical "control" it is Cosmically impossible for "anyone" to govern "anyone else;" yet nobody effectively governs shimself here either, because it is the universal misconception on this Planet at this time that that is "somebody else's" responsibility. So naturally what we have when "government" doesn't govern, because it can't and never could; and nobody governs themselves, because they all think "somebody else" should do that - is bloody anarchy. And bloody anarchy, literally, is what we shall continue to have here until such time as a sufficient minority of Individuals assume Our Sovereignty and govern Our Selves. That's the paradigm shift and the synthesis of the evolution / saviorship model with the transformation / mastership model the WingMakers talk about. Pretty simple, really; which is doubtless one reason why it is so beastly difficult to grasp and put into practice. But you know, "It'll be right, mate," for the pressure and the stress continue to mount daily, and will eventually reach a point in everybody's experience where resistance to the "new paradigm" will be overpowered by the stresses generated automatically by the catastrophic misconceptions of the "old paradigm." The paradigm shift could be quite sudden, swift and global in scope. I suspect when it does come, the greatest wonder people everywhere will experience is, "Why did it take Me so long to 'get it'?" So: what do You think? Are the WingMakers a hoax, or not? Or does it matter?
