Back to The New Paradigm Index

Dear Friends,

I love it when this happens! As a result of some spontaneous networking, a copy of Vol. III #13, "Critique of 'A Memorandum of Law'" came into the hands of one Dale Reece, and we got to swapping e-mails back and forth, which has led to the mutual realization that we're pretty much "tuned to the same frequency." At one point I wrote:

I'm amazed (and profoundly encouraged) by the number and variety of such messages I encounter, seemingly with increasing frequency daily. I feel a growing number of individuals are expressing to one another, and to "whoever will listen," essentially the same message; yet each speaks in a unique voice, with a unique emphasis and slant, with the result that more and more people are hearing it in terms they, uniquely, can comprehend. Which is why I put my oar in with The New Paradigm. I don't imagine my expression of "the message" is particularly any more valid than anyone else's; yet I can add an additional unique voice to it, and thereby perhaps catch the attention of some who would not be able to hear it expressed in different terms, or in a different "tone of voice."

Then too, I think the main thrust of "the message" comes, not from this or that "messenger," such as Esther Hicks, or even Abraham who speaks through her, but from within thousands and millions of individuals salted around the Earth everywhere. Thus the primary value of these various "messages" from those who articulate them is not to "get the word out," but to confirm the "word within" which many, many individuals are already "receiving" or "discovering" within themselves. Eventually, I imagine we'll get to a place where we're all telling each other the same thing; and then we'll all understand that we've all finally "got it," so we can stop talking about it, and go on and "live happily ever after." That'll be nice.

Dale responded, in part, as follows:

I agree, more and more people are waking up and listening to their inner being.

I've put these principles together over the years as I've followed my path... enjoy.

I have, and I had a hunch many of you would too; so I asked Dale if he might be open to sharing them with The New Paradigm readership.

Yours is yet another voice [I wrote] giving expression to "essentially the same message," as I mentioned earlier, and as such deserves wider circulation among fellow-seekers. Not that tnp will necessarily give it spectacularly wide circulation at that; but then, one never knows. People seem to be passing these things around, so maybe they wind up at the right time in the hands of those who should have them.

Without further preamble, here are 86...

  1. Whatever you are focused upon, be it real or imagined, causes you to vibrate - and that vibration is what the Universe accepts as your point of attraction. The Universe does not know or care why you are vibrating as you are vibrating.  It only responds to your vibration.

  2. As you are focusing upon and thereby attracting that which is in harmony with that which you consider to be good for you, the marvelous guidance system that comes forth from your Inner Being offers you the feeling of positive emotion as acknowledgement of your positive connection.

  3. As you are focusing upon and thereby attracting that which is not in harmony with that which you consider to be good for you, your Inner Being offers the feeling of negative emotion as acknowledgement of your negative connection.

  4. Practice meditation, which is training the mind to stay steady on an object without wavering, and cultivating insight to see more clearly the process of things and the nature of life.

  5. Be sensitive moment by moment to the way that you are feeling. As long as you are feeling positive emotion, know that you are creating toward those things that you are wanting.

  6. If you will allow the "guidance" from your Inner Being to assist you, rather than listening to the varied opinions and beliefs of those who surround you, you will have a much faster, clearer growth experience.

  7. As you stand tense and guarded, frightened or concerned, against anything that you do not want, by your attention, or focus of your thought, and with the power of your emotional response to your thought, you are in the mode of attracting the very thing you are guarding against.

  8. There is no such thing as exclusion - and every time you attempt it, all you really do is include in your vibration the very thing you don't want.

  9. When you say "yes" to something, you are including what you want in your experience.  When you say "no" to something, you are including what you don't want in your experience.

  10. Your desire does not have to be loudly offered, or offered for a long period of time - but it must be offered PURELY.

  11. Once you have identified what you want, then your work is to offer a vibration that matches that - and you can tell by the way you feel whether you are matching that vibration or not.

  12. Make a decision that nothing is more important than that you "feel" good.  As you "feel" good you are in a place of positive attraction, and are fulfilling your purpose for being here, and as a result are a blessing to anyone and everyone with whom you interact or think upon.

  13. It is not my responsibility to behave (vibrate) or act in a manner that keeps you happy or connected to source energy, that is your responsibility. Therefore don't expect others to conform to your archaic beliefs or practices so that you can keep your energy in balance.

  14. Give up your expectation of others. If they come through, great. If they don't come through, that's okay too. You are not here upon this earth to prove yourself worthy of anything, to anyone. Keep your hands in your own clay.

  15. Be patient, compassionate and generous. Accept your kindness as self-serving, and do it anyway.

  16. Truth isn't something to be found, it's something you create.

  17. Your natural state is that of well being and health.

  18. The better you feel, the more spiritual you are.

  19. The only opinion in all the Universe that is of true importance to you is your own. And your own opinion of you affects the entire Universe.

  20. No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.

  21. What you are living today is a result of the thoughts and feelings that you have felt before this. Your future is created from your perspective of today.

  22. Avoid gurus and religions. They're bad for your mental health and they want your money.

  23. There is no right or wrong religion, only ignorant or enlightened practices.

  24. Enlightenment is understanding that there is nowhere to go, nothing to do, and nobody you have to be except who you are being right now.

  25. Incorporate challenge into every aspect of your life to guarantee aliveness. If you don't make your life interesting, your mind will do it for you.

  26. Beliefs are not reality, but if you want to change your reality, you have to change your beliefs.

  27. The only sin is not acknowledging the enlightenment when it is given / manifested.

  28. Beliefs that do not agree with your inner guidance create dis-ease and ill health.

  29. Don't take things personally. Whoever is giving you grief would be giving grief to anyone who represented to him or her what you represent.

  30. What society calls right and wrong, and moral and immoral is not necessarily so.

  31. Practice being "in the moment."

  32. You will always live up to your self-image.

  33. Where your attention goes, your energy flows.

  34. If you do not take the time to identify and state your dominant intentions, then your creating is more easily influence by others or by your own old habits.

  35. When you show mercy, grace and love, you will receive the same in return.

  36. When you're upset about the way it is and do nothing to change the situation, you are choosing to allow it to continue.

  37. Contrast is the basis (gives birth to) of desire, and desire is the basis of life. A "failure" is simply an opportunity for your desire to get bigger.

  38. When your desire and your beliefs are in vibrational harmony, there is ease; when in disharmony, there is dis-ease.

  39. The price of freedom is to allow freedom. Very few people are willing to pay the price.

  40. The only way to light is through darkness. Do not be afraid of the dark.

  41. Every subject is right where you last left it. If it doesn't feel right, then change the way you feel about it.

  42. The Universe responds to your feelings / mood, not your words; therefore it is the feeling you create that changes things, not affirmations or mantras.

  43. The Universe will not give you any more contrast than you are ready for.

  44. Practice unconditional acceptance of others, by refraining from judgment, blame and expectations.

  45. Whenever we engage in criticism or faultfinding, we create the undesired effect of affirming or reinforcing those same negative elements in our own self-image.

  46. Refuse to make a choice based upon the expectations of others. Instead, act in ways consistent with your purpose.

  47. When you know you are on a spiritual mission, you become independent of the good opinions of others.

  48. What other people do does not affect you. What you think about what others do affects you.

  49. Truth has no importance when a myth makes one feel good.

  50. When you recognize that you, and only you, are the creator of that which you experience, and that you may attract, or repel, life situations by the power of your deliberate thought, then you are freed from all fear of how someone else might affect your life experience.

  51. We are all mirrors of our own thoughts. So unhappiness and failure are self-inflicted while happiness and success are self-bestowed.

  52. Every time you get upset with someone else, it is because you have expectations of approval or control (your expectations are in conflict with what is).

  53. When you are in a justifying position, you are pushing against your core energy. You are lowering your vibration in order to relate to someone. Let the Law of Attraction bring the right people to you.

  54. If you want to understand something or someone, you must observe without criticizing.

  55. Other people are a mirror for you, because the traits you respond to and acknowledge in others, you recognize in yourself.

  56. What you resist you draw to you.

  57. Love others as you would be loved, treasuring their uniqueness while accepting them as they are.

  58. The greatest gift you can give another person is to be all of who you are.  Be authentic.

  59. Value being who you are more than being accepted.

  60. In your heart you know the right thing to do at each moment in time.

  61. Your viewpoint determines how you will react to life. You're always free to choose a different viewpoint.

  62. Practice being centered - physically relaxed, emotionally calm, mentally focused and spiritually aware.

  63. Very little in life is really important, so separate what is from what isn't ...and respond only to what is.

  64. You are body/mind/spirit, not body and mind and spirit. What your mind doesn't handle, your body will try to resolve, draining spiritual energy in the process.

  65. You will never succeed beyond the size of your vision. So think big.

  66. You may attract whatever you want to your experience, but first you must know what it is you want.

  67. Forgive others, knowing that forgiveness is a selfish act you do for yourself to elevate karma and improve the quality of your life.

  68. WAKE UP.

  69. If what we believe is forbidden to be challenged and questioned, then that belief is on shaky grounds.

  70. True Masters will not claim they are.

  71. You will only see in others that which the filters of your belief allows you to see.

  72. Addictive and compulsive patterns of behavior, in their extreme, provide the opportunity to experience exactly the opposite of that which you most desire in life.

  73. Fear or negative emotion is an indicator that I am not in vibrational harmony with what I want and desire.

  74. That which you defend against becomes your experience. That which you worry about becomes your experience. That which you prepare against becomes your experience.

  75. Wisdom is defined as the living of knowledge acquired.

  76. Perhaps your greatest task in this lifetime, as well as the greatest gift that you may offer to yourself and others, is to transcend your personal polarity, while remaining in this world of polarity.

  77. Have thought, without attachment to the outcome of the event; emotion, without the charge of polarity; feeling, without the distortion of bias and conditioning.

  78. To experience light in your life, allow for the possibility of darkness, as well as light.

  79. You cannot improve your life by pushing against what you do not want.

  80. Your laws do not affect you, it is your attention to your laws that affect you. Your neighbors do not affect you, it is your attention to your neighbors that affect you.

  81. You are not here to discover the path that someone else has laid before you. You are the creator of your path. You are not here as a seeker of those who have discovered truths that you may now follow in their footsteps.  You are truth, seeking a path of joy and growth.

  82. Goose up your visualization and play down your observation.

  83. The basis of life is absolute freedom. The objective of life is absolute joy. The result of life is absolute growth.

  84. Your "Sixth Sense" is your Inner Being who has a full view of all you are living, all that you have ever lived, and all that is in your future. It is the Non-physical part of you that has very keen awareness of that which you are. It lets you know the distance between what you want and what you are currently vibrating... your gut feeling.

  85. Those who pass the judgment of selfishness on others are in essence saying that they want you to set aside your selfishness for theirs.

  86. If you are not selfish enough to find an object of desire that rings your bell, that summons life force through you, then you don't have anything to offer anybody.

"Men occasionally stumble over truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing had happened."

Winston Churchill (1874 - 1965)

"To those searching for the truth - not the truth of dogma and darkness, but the truth brought by reason, search, examination and inquiry - discipline is required.  For faith, as well intentioned as it may be, must be built on facts, not fiction. Faith in fiction is a damnable false hope."

Thomas A. Edison (1847 - 1931)

"Strange times are these in which we live
when young and old are taught in falsehood's school.
And the one man that dares to tell the truth
is called at once a lunatic and a fool."

Plato (c. -427 - c. -347)

"Reason obeys itself; and ignorance does whatever is dictated to it."

Thomas Paine (1737 - 1809), Rights of Man ("Conclusion")

"All truth goes through three stages. First it is ridiculed.  Then it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self evident."

Artur Schopenhauer (1788 - 1860)

"There are two ways to be fooled.  One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true."

Sören Kierkegaard (1813 - 1855)

Intent: I, Dale Reece, see and draw to me, through divine love, those beings who seek enlightenment through my process. The sharing will elevate us both, now.

I love being aware of the vibration of my being and it is my desire to hold myself mostly in the range of peace to passion always appreciating when I dip into the negative emotion because it is an indicator of what I am really wanting.

When I asked Dale if he would like to share anything about himself, he wrote:

You may just mention that I am another fellow traveler on this planet and that I collected these principles during the course of my "search for the truth."  This search took me from Christian fundamentalism which encourages and espouses "separation", to that of "oneness", which teaches that we are all from the same "source" and that we are all unique, independent beings on a spiritual journey to discover who we are.

You can include my email address [dalereece@home.com] if anyone wants to dialog with me.

You might also want to include this definition of unconditional love... it's from an unknown source:

I love you as you are, as you seek to find your own special way to relate to the world. I honor your choices to learn in the way you feel is right for you.

I know it is important that you are the person you want to be and not someone that others or I think you "should" be. I realize that I cannot know what is best for you, although perhaps sometimes I think I do. I have not been where you have been, viewing life from the angle you have. I do not know what you have chosen to learn, how you have chosen to learn it, with whom or in what time period. I have not walked life looking through your eyes, so how can I know what you desire?

In this place where I am, I see that there are many ways to perceive and experience the different facets of our world. I allow without reservation the choices you make in each moment. I make no judgement of this, for if I would deny your right to your evolution, then I would deny that right for all others and myself.

To those who would choose a way I cannot walk, whilst I may not choose to add my power and my energy to this way, I will never deny you the gift of love that God has bestowed within me, for all creation. As I love you, so I shall be loved. As I sow, so shall I reap.

For it is the inalienable right of all life to choose their own evolution and with great love I acknowledge your right to determine your future. In humility I bow to the realization that the way I see as best for me does not have to mean it is also right for you. I know that you are led as I am, following the inner excitement to know your own path.

I know that the many races, religions, customs, nationalities and beliefs within our world, bring us richness and allow us the benefit and teachings of such diverseness. I know we each learn in our own unique way in order to bring that love and wisdom back to the whole. I know that if there were only one way to do something, there would need only be one person. And what a bore that would be.

I will love you, even if you behave in a way other than the way I think you should, or believe in those things I choose not to believe in. I understand you are truly my brother and my sister, though you may have been born in a different time and place and have formed beliefs that my mind and soul do not agree with.

The love I feel is for all of God’s world. I know that every living thing is a part of God, and I feel a love deep within for every person, animal, tree, and flower, every bird, river, and ocean, and for all the creatures in all the world.

I live my life in loving service, being the best me I can, becoming wiser in the perfection of divine truth, becoming happier in the joy of … Unconditional Love.

Thank you, Dale, for enriching us today, both with your creative insight, and with your eye for the apt quote. (There are a few more of those you may enjoy - although not necessarily quite so apt - on the Quotes page.)

Love & Light,
Harmon
