My visions for a "new paradigm" world just keep coming and coming. I hope they interest you, and/or stimulate visions of your own. What follows focuses primarily upon some aspects of "new paradigm" technology, as I imagine it may develop in the near and longer term. [Editorial Note: The following essay is the third of what has developed (so far) into a five-part series. The "Table of Contents" for the entire series follows.]
In the first part of this essay, passing comment was made about the extraordinary consequences of the widespread and fluid availability of information within and among "new paradigm" communities. "Compact, efficient, clean 'free energy' devices proliferate," it was predicted, or imagined,
To many, these may seem like extravagant claims, rather "over the edge" of what many today may regard as the realm of the possible. One of my convictions, which of course I am in no position to "prove," is that there is no actual "edge" to "the realm of the possible." The only limits to "what is possible" are those imposed by ourselves, within the confines of our own minds and conceptual structures. Therefore, I think the above statement, far from being "extravagant," is highly conservative; for there is abundant evidence already for the existence in the contemporary world of the technologies mentioned above - which must therefore be very near the realm, not of the "impossible," but of the commonplace. As for the actual existence of exotic technologies not "officially" acknowledged or widely known, there is such voluminous evidence available that it is a challenge even to suggest a place to begin exploring it all. One source I can recommend without hesitation is Unconventional Flying Objects2 by Paul R. Hill, which gives an abbreviated overview of the kinds of observations that have been made over a prolonged period of time, of unusual objects in the sky which cannot be rationally accounted for by the performance of any "known" lighter-than-air, aerodynamic, or ballistic technologies. Whether or not the objects reported can be "reproduced in the laboratory," a great many descriptive reports by evidently competent witnesses exist and have been published. It is difficult for me to imagine how such a body of information can be dismissed unexamined by a genuinely inquiring mind; and once examined, not prompted to serious introspections on the nature of "reality," and parallel topics. Such matters have been discussed in these pages before this, and may be worth reviewing.3 Therefore, without covering for a second or third time ground we have covered before, let us proceed on the assumption that there exist on this planet propulsion and energy technologies not conventionally "known" or acknowledged, yet nevertheless demonstrably present, hence potentially understandable, duplicable, and widely available under imaginable circumstances. On the basis of such testimony as that of Sacramento psychologist Richard J. Boylan, Ph.D.4, one may make the reasonable surmise that such technologies have been at least tenuously in the hands of human technologists for at minimum the past decade; more probably for the past half-century. If so, there are people actually walking around on this planet today who know a good deal about such technologies. Such knowledge has evidently been jealously shrouded in almost impenetrable secrecy by "the authorities," ostensibly for reasons of "national security," but in actuality for reasons entirely unknown to "outsiders." With the expanding awareness that the "authority" of "the authorities" is entirely bogus, and has no legitimate foundation whatsoever, it may be expected that this shroud of secrecy must sooner or later collapse, and many hitherto "unknown" technologies begin to find their way into wider circulation and availability.
In addition to the collapse of the shroud of secrecy cloaking known exotic technologies in consequence of these and parallel realizations, there are numerous "off-the-grid" researchers whose work does not enjoy the sanction, prestige, or funding common to "mainstream research" institutions; yet some of whom may be poised upon the cusp of applications of unimagined significance to the liberation of humanity.8 There must come a time when these dedicated pioneers on the frontiers of human capability "emerge from the woodwork" and receive the recognition, and the opportunities, they have long in obscurity deserved. Now let's say "the balance shifts,"9 preferably gracefully, with a minimum of chaotic turmoil, and it becomes generally evident that "the shoe is on the other foot." We're still talking "transition" here; only, the "authority" of "the authorities" is no longer universally recognized or feared, in consequence of which many Individuals feel empowered to take steps they would not have contemplated only a short time previously. Sovereign Individuals "under orders" to carry out the commands, and enforce the policies of "the authorities," or of their (so-called) "superiors," begin to see through the threadbare tapestry of lies, deception, and intimidation upon which all such "authority" and "superiority" are founded; and commence giving said commands and policies the respect they deserve, which is none whatsoever. This may be done tentatively and covertly at first, but gradually with increasing frequency and decisiveness, as it becomes clear that all "authority" which does not rely upon genuine voluntary mutual agreement and respect, relies instead upon bluster and intimidation, and is without substance or merit, no matter how magnificently clothed in the costumes and theater sets of majesty and grandeur.10 It is of crucial importance to remind ourselves here to steer as clear of acrimony and resentment as possible in dealing with these issues. Discovery of how one has been "hoodwinked" by manipulators of systems one has habitually trusted without question can lead to powerful emotional reactions. However, "us / them" confrontations never lead to satisfactory solutions for anyone. In the "new paradigm," "they" are "us," and vice versa. In fact, this entire vision is predicated upon the prevailing understanding that All are One, and that conflict among parts of the Whole, on any level, at any scale, constitutes "dis-ease" for each and all. One of the "nuts and bolts" consequences of all this is that totally surprising technologies emerge into widening circulation, which give expanding numbers of people liberties and advantages heretofore even imagined by only a few. Energy for countless tasks no longer must be purchased from a relative few energy suppliers, for example, any more than must air today; for every atom in the universe is literally afloat in, and saturated by, an endless and inexhaustible sea of pure energy. Tapping this energy, and putting it to purposeful use, is but a matter of technology: human invention. Most likely, the necessary inventions are already "on the shelf" awaiting implementation, and have only been delayed by "old paradigm" "authorities" who have mistakenly presumed to attempt to maintain control over the lives and actions of their peers. Because of the expanding awareness that All are One, technology, industry, and manufacturing undergo profound metamorphoses under the "new paradigm," for they are no longer driven by the single concern of fiscal profit. Rather, they are driven by genuine human usefulness, and by the universal requirement to achieve a "healthy fit" with the Planetary ecology and the Cosmic Scheme. This requirement is not "enforced," by any "authoritative regulation," but by the clear self-interest of every Individual; for it quickly becomes universally understood that anything "I" do that damages the health and well-being of the Planet, or Cosmos at large, whoever "I" may be, damages "My" health and well-being just as surely as if "I" ingest poison instead of nutritious food. This is what is popularly known today as a "no-brainer," and future generations will probably be puzzled by the length of time it has taken humanity to figure it out. Consequently, human invention and creativity in the "new paradigm" world focus first upon replacing "old paradigm" technologies and industries with methods and techniques whereby every industrial output is a useful input to a beneficial process. There are no toxic wastes to clean up in such industries, because none are produced. Simple. The prototype for this approach to manufacturing and industry is found (naturally) in Nature, wherein vast quantities of useful products in endless variety are manufactured on a global scale every day; yet every "natural-industrial" output is a useful input to a beneficial natural process. A forest, a meadow, a man, a bear, even a single cell, are all vast and complex "manufactories" and "hi-tech industries," no less than is an automobile plant, or a silicon chip factory, or a human "civilization." (The last is in "quotes" because we have not yet gotten there; but we're working on it.) Natural industries, like human industries, all produce products, and byproducts. A major factor distinguishing natural industries from "old paradigm" human industries, however, is that all byproducts of the former are absorbed usefully in the processes of other natural industries. When we learn how to create technologies, products, and industries that follow the example of Nature, we will have mounted a major obstacle to our perpetuation as a species in Cosmos. We can do it, for we have done it before. We learned how to fly, for instance, for no other reason than that birds and flying insects demonstrated to us that it is possible. It is the same with "clean industry." Similarly, the "magnificent flying machines" that have been observed all over the world, and possibly throughout human history, which literally fly rings around the most "advanced" contemporary aviation technologies, demonstrate possibilities never before imagined for human use. Well, imagine that! If someone can fly through the atmosphere at 9000 mph [14,484 km/h] without a sound, or a "sonic boom," why not you? Why not me? Why not anyone? It's "no big deal" today for just about anyone to drive an automobile down a highway at 70 mph [113 klicks]. Why not a "flying saucer" instead? It's just technology, and the technology already exists - somewhere. Can you begin to imagine living in a world, populated by human communities predominantly tuned to "new paradigm" sensibilities, with limitless free energy available for any physical task, with an awareness of and sensitivity to the impact upon the Whole of any human undertaking, on any scale? There are no wheeled vehicles, and no roads, highways, freeways, or rail lines. There are no power lines or pipelines delivering electricity or fuel, for all energy is freely available to whoever needs it, wherever it is needed. There are no "national frontiers," for commerce is totally airborne and global - possibly interplanetary and interstellar. There are no huge urban population centers in the "new paradigm" world, for it is as easy to cross the Planet as to cross the township, and rural living is much more spacious and pleasant than the hives and rookeries commonly found in contemporary large cities. Regions of the planet previously inaccessible, such as remote mountain valleys and peaks, deserts, canyons, islands, even the ocean floor, become favored roosts for human habitation. Technologies for distilling pure water out of thin air, or the sea, or any source of moisture, are perfected, causing deserts to bloom, and paradise to blossom wherever human settlements form. These are some of the possibilities I see emerging, due largely to technological advances in the "near term" future, as we emerge from the dark labyrinths of our "old paradigm" past into "new paradigm" awareness of love, trust, cooperation, and mutually acknowledged and honored Individual Sovereignty. More remotely, I suspect we shall gradually discover that we don't even need technology; that technology only serves as a kind of "scaffolding," required by newly emerging "new paradigm" worlds, which with greater maturity is discarded as unnecessary. When one discovers, and fully internalizes, that all experience is nothing more nor less than various states of consciousness, one will no longer require a technological "contraption" like a "flying machine," whether aerodynamic or "antigravity," to move bodily from point a to point b, whether points a and b are across town, or across the Galaxy. The core of the "new paradigm" world, in any case, is not technology, but human relationship. The above considerations may be useful in assisting visualization of what life in a "new paradigm" world might be like, visually, experientially; but are at length only a kind of "scaffolding" too, upon which to form and hang one's visions of the kinds of possibilities that may await us as we mature into genuinely civilized beings. The key to the "new paradigm," to becoming genuinely civilized, in distinction to the "color of civilization" we have so far had in our history, lies in forming "new paradigm" human relationships. And that is a topic which must await a sequel for fuller development. As always, although I may have failed to mention it recently, your input on any of these considerations is solicited, and always welcome.
