There are three items in particular I would like to address in further consideration of the First Source Volume I "WingMakers Myth" disclosures. These are matters of considerable importance to me, and possibly to others as well. Mainly, it is important to me to understand the context in which I occur; therefore I am drawn like a magnet into "larger spaces," as they open to my perception. I find I naturally seek the largest context at any moment available to my imagination and vision; for only within the largest imaginable context am I able to have any comprehension whatsoever of the minutia of my daily life. Thus, what follows will develop from the expansively general to the minutely specific, viz.:

1. The WingMakers' cosmology, or as James put it, "the new cosmology of First Source,"¹ I find to be the most satisfying I have so far encountered anywhere, particularly as it relates to the Hierarchy, and to the two alternative "models of existence," i.e. the Evolution / Saviorship model, and the Transformation / Mastership model. I would like to explore some of the relevant implications in greater depth.

2. Within the WingMakers' Glossary is to be found a brief discussion of what is called "OLIN Technology," which refers to the forthcoming development of a "One Language Intelligent Network" as a further, future evolution of our contemporary Internet. I would like to explore some of the implications of this technology.

3. Although it will already be clear that I have no "harsh criticisms" of the so far disclosed "WingMakers Myth," nevertheless, as observed in "Part II" of this essay, there is nothing so perfect it cannot be improved. I would like to make some "constructive recommendations" on how subsequent First Source Volumes might be improved; I suppose these comments would be addressed ultimately to James.

This is too large an agenda to fit within a single edition, therefore another sequel may be expected in due course.

1. WingMakers' Cosmology
Perhaps the most salient feature of the WingMakers' Cosmology is that it is BIG; vast in scope; mind-expanding; Cosmic. I do not mean to stand in awe of "mere bigness," however just to give you a glimpse, perhaps, of the mind-expanding scope of the "WingMakers Myth," here is a message for your consideration, explicitly attributed to First Source:

I convey this message to you whom I have stirred with the sound of my voice. These words are my signature. You may bring your doubt, your fear, your faith, or your courage; it matters not, for you will be touched by the rhythm of my voice. It moves through you like a beam of light that sweeps - if only for a moment - the darkness aside.

I dwell in a frequency of light in which finite beings cannot uncover me. If you search for me, you will fail. I am not found or discovered. I am only realized in oneness, unity, and wholeness. It is the very same oneness you feel when you are interconnected with all of life, for I am this and this alone. I am all of life. If you must search for me, then practice the feeling of wholeness and unity.

In my deepest light I created you from my desire to understand my universe. You are my emissaries. You are free to journey the universe of universes as particles from my infinite womb with destinies that you alone will write. I do not prescribe your journey, or your journey's aim. I only accompany you. I do not pull you this way or that, nor do I punish you when you stray from my heart. This I do as an outcome of my belief in you.

You are the heirs of my light, which gave you form. It is my voice that awakened you to individuality, but it will be your will that awakens you to our unity. It is your desire to know me as your self that brings you to my presence so perfectly hidden from your world. I am behind everything that you see, hear, touch, taste, smell, feel, and believe.

I live for your discovery of me. It is my highest expression of my love for you, and while you search for my shadows in the stories of your world, I, the indelible, invisible light, grow increasingly visible. Imagine the furthest point in space - beneath a black portal, cast in some distant galaxy, and then multiply this distance by the highest numeric value you know. Congratulations, you have measured an atom of my body.

Do you realize how I am unfathomable? I am not what you can know, or see, or understand. I am outside comprehension. My vastness makes me invisible and unavoidable. There is nowhere you can be without me. My absence does not exist. It is this very nature that makes me unique. I am First Cause and Last Effect connected in an undivided chain.

There is no supplication that stirs me. No prayer that invites me further into your world unless it is attended with the feeling of unity and wholeness. There is no temple or sacred object that touches me. They do not, nor have they ever brought you closer to my outstretched hand. My presence in your world is unalterable for I am the sanctuary of both the cosmos and the one soul inside you.

I could awaken each of you in this very moment to our unity, but there is a larger design - a more comprehensive vision - that places you in the boundaries of time and the spatial dimensions of separateness. The design requires a progression into my wholeness that reacquaints you with our unity through the experience of separation. Your awakening, while slow and sometimes painful, is assured, and this you must trust above all else.

I am the ancestral father of all creation. I am a personality that lives inside each of you as a vibration that emanates from all parts of your existence. I reside in this dimension as your beacon. If you follow this vibration, if you place it at the core of your journey, you will contact my personality that lives beneath the particles of your existence.

I am not to be feared or held in indifference. You are my blessed offspring with whom I am intricately connected in means that you cannot understand and therefore appreciate. You must suspend your belief and disbelief in what you cannot sense, in exchange for your knowledge that I am alive and real within you. This is my central message to all my offspring. Hear it well, for in it you may find the place in which I dwell.²

One may think what one chooses as to the provenance of such a message. For me, it is mind-expanding, whatever its ultimate source may be. Where it came from doesn't matter at all: someone wrote those words, and others like them, and now they have come into my hands, and eyes, and mind, to stir my imagination. It is sufficient. Whoever wrote them, he, she, or it is ultimately and unavoidably, by definition, an agent of First Source, as is each of us, man or mouse, atom or galaxy; so their attribution is ultimately correct.

For me, there has always lingered a perplexing enigma, to which I have never been able to find a satisfactory explanation in any religion, philosophy, or cosmological doctrine to which I have been exposed, or upon which I have fastened my attention: Why, if "God is good," should this world, always credited as "God's Creation," be found to be in such a perpetually muddled mess? The doctrines of the so-called "Fall of Man," the "Salvation of Christ," the theories of "Natural Selection," and the "Big Bang," in all their respective complexity and diversity of interpretation, have alike fallen from me like discarded garments that cannot be made to fit. I have tried them all on for size with a sincere will, and have spent significant portions of my life, concurrently or sequentially, under the influence of all of them. For me, none of them are workable.

My subsequent Self-search is largely articulated in The New Paradigm essays over the past three-and-some years. A great deal has emerged from my own introspections, and I have gathered numerous valuable nuggets along the way, from such as Neale Walsch's Conversations with God, and any number of other great books I could list, as well as from a good many items I have encountered from various sources on the Net. My personal myth in consequence is an eclectic aggregate in a dynamic state of flux.

As I have already mentioned, the "WingMakers Myth" comes the closest, of anything I have so far encountered, to providing a satisfactory explanation to the "Big Question" of, as Douglas Adams has it, "Life, the Universe, and Everything."³ This may be because it really is a more penetrating representation of "what's so" than any I have previously encountered. Alternatively, perhaps, it is simply because it harmonizes more perfectly with my peculiar bent and mixture of personal choices than do other expressions of parallel validity.

There are many routes to expanded understanding: some speak to certain mentalities, psychologies, "microcosmic cultures;" others speak to others. I view them all as, in a sense, pieces to a vast jigsaw puzzle a great many unique individuals are earnestly endeavoring to piece together, in a multitude of unique ways. It may be that in some future in which the overall pattern is more clearly discernable than it has been till now, we will all be able to stand back and "see it whole," and agree amongst ouselves upon what we see, and can combine our various myths into a single, larger myth we can all embrace. Meanwhile, the "WingMakers Myth" happens to speak to me at this time in ways that excite my quest for deeper understanding, and expand my vision of what I, and my fellows, can be. If the same applies to you, what follows may interest you.

As I understand the "WingMakers Myth" as of even date, the cosmological purpose of First Source in all "Its" (for want of a more appropriate pronoun) creative endeavors, is to experience, explore, and thereby to understand, and expand, Its Self. We touched upon this briefly, and relatively superficially, in my dialogue with Source recorded in "Creation Myths."⁴ However, the disclosures in First Source Volume I vastly expand and deepen that preliminary vision.

When the entity becomes unique [according to "The Blueprint of Exploration"], it can acquire experience and insight that is unique. And this is the precious cargo that the entity was designed to transmit to First Source. Individuality and independence were the gifts bestowed to the entity, and unique insight was the gift returned. This is how the multiverse is designed, and the blueprint of exploration is indifferent to the nature of the instrument, its outward appearance, its usefulness to a given species, or its contributions to the world from which it was born. The only objective worth expressing is that the entity secured for itself, and provided to First Source, a unique perspective during its sojourn into time and genetic density.⁵

Engineering this capacity for a unique perspective was, even for First Source, evidently a formidable challenge; for First Source is, as stated above, "all of life." That being so, how can anything, any entity, of any description, have a unique perspective not previously shared by First Source? And consequently, how can First Source have a unique experience of anything, ever, anywhere in the entire "length and breadth" of the Universe of Wholeness?⁶ Such a thing would seem, logically, to be impossible, practically by definition; with the follow-on consequence that "What's the point?" would not have a satisfactory answer. I mean, what's in it for First Source? Just to go round and round in the same tired old grooves, experiencing again and again the same things It has already experienced an "infinite number" of times before? You know what that's like. Why bother? What's it all in aid of? What's the point, for First Source, and by extension, for you; for me; for "Life, the Universe, and Everything?"

The "WingMakers Myth" has an answer for this question. True, the answer is a myth; but then, all "answers" in three-dimensional space-time are myths. Among the available myths, one must either choose to believe the one that, for one's own reasons, is found to be most appealing, or else invent or discover a more satisfactory myth of one's own; or else blunder on aimlessly in a state of perpetual disorientation. Ultimately, I suspect, each of us fabricates shim's own myth, often by adaptation of parts of existing myths; and sometimes, at least in part, out of the whole cloth of one's unique perspective. This is "the precious cargo that the entity was designed to transmit to First Source," and the vital element that makes it all worthwhile for everyone: for you, for me, and for First Source: for "all of life."

My blueprint of exploration has an overarching intention; you are not the recipients of divine labor and meticulous training only to insure that you may enjoy endless bliss and eternal ease. There is a purpose of transcendent service concealed beyond the horizon of the present universe age. If I designed you to take you on an eternal excursion into nirvana, I certainly would not construct your entire universe into one vast and intricate training school, requisition a substantial branch of my creation as teachers and instructors, and then spend ages upon ages piloting you, one by one, through this enormous universe school of experiential learning. The furtherance of the system of human progression is cultivated by my will for the explicit purpose to merge the human species with other species from different universes.

As it is my nature to be seven-fold, there are seven universes that comprise my body. Within each of these, a species of a particular DNA template is cast forth and is nurtured by Source Intelligence to explore its material universe. Each of these species is sent forth from the Central Race into the universe that was created to unveil its potential and seed vision. Your species will converge with six other species in a distant future that will reunite my body as the living extension of known creation. While this may seem so distant as to have no relevance to your time, it is vital for you to understand the scope of your purpose. You can think of these seven species as the limbs of my body rejoined to enable me / us total functionality within the grand universe. This is my purpose and therefore your own as well.

Your freewill is not taken from you; it is merely united with my / our own. In the deepest chamber of my existence issues the will to expand, explore, unite, synthesize, and in so doing, reveal yet another layer of my / our purpose. What is this purpose you ask? It is not expressible in a language you can now understand, but it is related to the concepts of universe discovery and self-evolution. It is the expansion and synthesis of cosmic experience.

The ascendant beings of time are converging to my central abode. All are drawn to me for the purpose of my / our will to be expressed throughout the grand universe in order to cast another grand universe, and to deepen the skin of my / our personality. This is the hidden purpose of my / our will: to create new worlds of experience that stimulate our continuing evolution.

Without you I am unable to evolve. Without me you are unable to exist. This is our eternal bond. It was and is my desire to evolve that gave you existence. We, collectively, are the conjoint vessel of creation and exploration. We are the boldness of the uncharted journey and the imaginative energy of the out-picturing of new realities. We are the image of an ascending, infinite, expanding spiral that is created segment by segment by itself. We are inseparable - each the window of the other.

My blessings to you who find these words and listen in the clearness of your personality.⁷

A picture begins to emerge, does it not? of an incomprehensibly vast and profound Wholeness, deliberately and purposefully shattered into innumerable fragments, which have been scattered across seven universes for the purpose of creative, exploratory, endlessly expansive evolution for First Source: i.e. for "all of life." This vast enterprise is, for First Source, and for ourselves, perpetually a "work in progress;" "a journey, not a destination." In a future "so distant as to have no [apparent] relevance to [our] time," we Earth-borne humans "will converge with six other species ... that will reunite [First Source's] body as the living extension of known creation;" which will in turn presumably facilitate further evolutionary adventures for all of us, which cannot be undertaken or contemplated under conditions as they exist in the contemporary "now."

This is the grand context in which the minutia of "my" daily life occur. Still... how does it occur? How is it that the One First Source is able to shatter Itself so thoroughly as to cast Its fragments into multiple universes, such that the fragments lose track of their inherent and inviolable Wholeness, and are thus able to commence evolving as unique entities, unaware of their connection to First Source? It is this very quality of separation from First Source, according to the "WingMakers Myth," that enables each entity to achieve the unique perspective that is "the precious cargo that the entity was designed to transmit to First Source."

The genetic mind [according to the Glossary] is the equivalent of a universal belief system that penetrates, to varying degrees, the human instrument of all entities. In some, it immobilizes their ability to think original thoughts and feel original feelings. In most, it entrains their belief system to harmonize with the accepted belief systems of the Hierarchy.⁸ In a few, it exerts no significant force nor has any bearing on the development of their personal belief system.

There are those on terra-earth who are in training to be Sovereign Entities and are completely unaware of this training as well as their destiny. When they are able to become timeless and view the continuum of their lifestream, they will see the thread that has differentiated them as Sovereign Entities. They will understand how the hardships and supposed indifference of the universe were actually the catalysts for their emergence as designers of the new genetic mind.⁹

The genetic mind is different from the subconscious or universal mind as it is sometimes referred to in your psychology texts, in that the genetic mind has a peculiar focus on the accumulated beliefs of all the people on a planet from its most distant past to its present time. These accumulated beliefs are actually manipulations of the Hierarchy, which imprint on the genetic mind in order to cast the boundaries of what is acceptable to believe.

So compelling is this manipulation and the boundaries that are imposed by the Hierarchy that virtually no one is aware of the manipulations of their beliefs. This is precisely why the WingMakers have interacted with your species from the very beginning. As culture bearers, we stretch your boundaries in the arena of science, art, and philosophy. We essentially expand the genetic mind's "perimeter fence" and enable it to encompass a larger portion of the "land" known as Source Reality.

If we were to tell you about the fundamental misconceptions of your genetic mind, you would not believe us. You would most definitely - even your most accomplished spiritual leaders - find us in contempt of much that you hold true and reasonable. You would feel fear in the face of our expression of Source Reality because it would be so clear to you how you have squandered your divine natures in favor of the entrapment of the genetic mind.¹⁰

We know this will seem like a judgment of your beliefs, and it is to some degree, but you must know this about your belief systems: they are largely disconnected from Source Reality. They are like threads of a web that have become disconnected from the "branches" of Source Reality by the "winds" of the Hierarchy. Source Reality is represented in your belief in unconditional love, but of all the dimensions of your belief systems, this is the one thread that is connected - through the genetic mind - to Source Reality.

All of the other dimensions are connected to the genetic mind and have no ongoing connection to Source Reality. The genetic mind, as an intermediary and reflection of Source Reality, is completely and utterly inept. This is all part of the primal blueprint that designs the evolutionary pathway of a species through time. The genetic mind acts as a buffer for the developing species to experience separation from Source Reality. In this way, the human instrument is appropriately entangled in time, space, and the illusions of a disempowered belief system.

These factors, as disorienting as they are to the entity, are precisely what attract the entity to terra-earth. There are very few planetary systems in the multiverse that provide a better sense of separation from Source Reality than that which is experienced on terra-earth. By amplifying the sense of separation, the entity can experience more fully the individuated essence that is unique and bears the resemblance of First Source as a Unique Being. This is what draws entities to this world to incarnate within a human instrument.

So the genetic mind is an enabling force to experience separation on the one hand, and a disabling force to understand the true characteristics of Source Reality on the other. This dichotomy, when understood, helps to disentangle the human instrument and its entity consciousness from the limiting aspects of the genetic mind and its principle author, the Hierarchy.

Over the next twenty years, the genetic mind will become increasingly fragmented and thus, vulnerable to modification. This will be an effect of the growing ubiquity of intelligent networks and artificial intelligence therein. The expanding interconnection of intelligent networks has a significant impact on the genetic mind because of the emergence of a global culture that accompanies the arrival of such technologies.¹¹

Ahhh, so. The Hierarchy, and its deliberate fabrication, the genetic mind - which strikes me as fairly closely answering the description of what I have heretofore been calling the "old paradigm" - actually does have a positive function in the largest scheme of things, as engineered by First Source. Its function is to draw us - who are really shattered fragments of First Source, who fully share Its power and identity - into such labyrinths of confusion and disorientation that we utterly (almost) lose track of our inherent identity with First Source, and connection to Source Reality; and in compensation - possibly out of sheer desperation - we develop the unique perspectives that enable us to deliver "the precious cargo that the entity was designed to transmit to First Source."

Well now. That does clear up some perplexing mysteries, doesn't it? I've never heard it put quite that way before. Have you? So it emerges that even though "The Hierarchy extends throughout the cosmos to the very borders of discovery," still, it actually functions only as a kind of "temporary scaffolding" to facilitate the grand architectural structure First Source is building; which structure may not be complete until the arrival of an epoch "so distant as to have no relevance to your time." Meanwhile, the main purpose of the Hierarchy is so to muddle the minds of the scattered "offspring" of First Source, that we are forced to "think for ourselves" and develop our own respective unique perspectives. This is accomplished, ironically, in response to the Hierarchy's deliberately placing in our path every conceivable obstacle to our accomplishing exactly that. Now this myth may not be just everyone's cup of tea, but it certainly does appeal to me. What I like about it in particular is, it thoroughly disarms my "bitter antagonism" against the Hierarchy.

Long-time readers of The New Paradigm will be aware that I have had but few kind words for the "authorities," the "aristocracy," the "priesthood," the Hierarchy, anywhere I have encountered them. I've been aware of it too, and it has persistently bothered me. It hasn't seemed quite right, in a Cosmic Scheme repeatedly acknowledged to be One, a unified, indivisible Whole, to harbor such resentment against so prominent a feature of the landscape as the Hierarchy. I've tried to smile at them, as sincerely as possible, yet I must confess my smiles have too often concealed clenched teeth; because I could never understand before where they fit in.

The Hierarchy must be a part of First Source too, there's no other way to account for their presence here. Everything is a part of First Source, like it or not. But what the devil (excuse me) are they doing here? They don't serve any useful purpose, they only get in the way and muck up the works. Well, Eureka! that's what they're supposed to do! They're really good at it, too, aren't they? Bravo! Well done! And in doing so, they press us to the wall, and we get so muddled and confused that we forget our relationship and identity with First Source, and Abracadabra! start coming up with wholly unique perceptions; making unique choices; forming unique perspectives. And at length we rediscover our never lost, unbreakable connection with First Source, and make the totally liberating transition to the consciousness of the Sovereign Integral.¹² I must say, I do like that!

I like it because it points a way out of the "human predicament" for everyone - or anyway for everyone who wants out of it; even for those who identify themselves solidly with the Hierarchy. For every policeman and every judge, every legislator, governor, monarch, ecclesiastical potentate, bank president, corporation lawyer, military commander, corporal, and clerk, is first and foremost an indelible Son or Daughter of First Source; and "First Source is connected to individuals not organizations."¹³ Therefore, anyone who "wants out" really can "get out" of the "human predicament" - simply by "attuning [shimself] to Source Intelligence and 'detuning' [shimself] from the Hierarchy,"¹⁴ which is part of the process of integrating the Evolution / Saviorship model with the Transformation / Mastership model, to arrive ultimately at the desired synthesis model of existence, which "with high probability, will ultimately become the dominant model of existence in this universe."¹⁵

According to the "WingMakers Myth," an early development of this transformation for planet Earth is also provided for in the Cosmic Scheme; and we will be discussing it in the next sequel to this series, in which we will explore Intelligent Networks and OLIN Technology. Until then,

What I am interested in at this point is not avoiding deserved censure, but discovering, and applying, how to "get it right," for Pete's sake! "Getting it right," it seems fairly obvious to me, consists essentially of moving into harmony with First Source, and into connection with Source Reality.
