Osho is unique and unsurpassed in many ways, including his vast intellect and unbelievable scope. There is almost no topic in the universe relating to the transformation of the individual that Osho didn't cover in depth. Further, he introduced jokes and humor into his profound discourses on such a scale as no Enlightened Master has ever done before him.
He relates to all paths and no path. He distills the essence of all religions while endorsing no religion. He disavowed all traditions and the entire past of mankind, preferring instead to create a discontinuous entirely new reality.
One of the most heavenly spiritual paradises in India is the Osho Commune International, in Pune. The unparalleled Enlightened Master Osho was in the body until 1990, and even though he has been dissolved into the universe since then, his cosmic energy still flows at the Commune, also called the Osho Ashram and the Osho Resort. It has further been called "Club Med", for "Meditation".
With his over 700 masterpiece books, thousands of audio and video tapes, and millions of Sannyasins and "friends" around the world, you will be pleased to know that his contributions are still uplifting the world to augment and supplement the beautiful contributions all the other realized beings are making around the world.
The vision of a peaceful harmonious and prosperous world, where more awakening and enlightenment is happening to more people more easily, and where wellness, love, ecstasy, and bliss are more widespread and commonplace, is coming true sooner and more smoothly because of the presence of people like Osho in the world.
And "presence" of Osho is still true, even without his physical body. It is the wisdom and over 400 meditation methods he left behind, which people are using to transform themselves, that is helping the vision of a New Man and a Golden Age come true.

His Commune in Pune is one of the most beautiful, well designed, and multi-dimensionally comfortable spiritual communities in the world. Someone estimated that the number of tourists visiting the Osho Commune is the second highest of any place in India - - second only to the Taj Mahal. It is literally and actually a lotus paradise, with rainforest-like jungles, lotus ponds, singing frogs, waterfalls, marble pathways, bamboo groves, and gardens everywhere with wild parrots, cuckoos, peacocks, and other exotic birds.
The ashram, as it is also called, or "resort", has a greater variety of top-quality dances, music concerts, meditation groups, spiritual practices, healing therapies, and other self-development activities going on than any other place on Earth most meditators have seen. Every day there are vipassana meditations, Zen meditation, Sufi dancing, and hundreds of other evolutionary and transformational events to choose from.
The food is mostly organic and all vegetarian, grown right in the commune's own private garden, and served in a beautiful huge outdoor terrace area under canopies of trees, with running streams and gardens all around. It is some of the highest quality and least expensive food in the world, all served in the atmosphere of a spiritual paradise.
The neighborhood in which the Osho Commune exists, Koregoan Park, consists of about 200 mansions in spacious garden lands, built by groups of rich people from Bombay about 100 years ago. Pune is higher altitude than sea-level Mumbai (Bombay), so it is somewhat cooler, and enjoys one of the nicer climates in India.
This is a very evolutionary community because it allows the freedom to pursue any path, follow any philosophy, enjoy any approach to meditation, and embrace a diversity of enlightened personalities. Osho himself commented on the teachings of just about every enlightened master who ever lived (who left behind records). Here it feels like a clearinghouse of all religions, all spiritual traditions, all paths, all persuasions, all approaches, all methodologies, and then some.
